Crystals for protection

Welcome to my first blog post on my new updated website. My personal favorite crystal for protection is black tourmaline. It is super grounding and even has an electric feel to it. You may rub it gently between the palms of your hand or hold it in your fingers and feel some electricity. I experienced some odd things the first time I got this crystal years ago. They had to do with money and protection but kind of in a matrix-y/patterny way so I could tell it was working. I like to wear black tourmaline as a necklace close to my heart when I am going to travel or go out in public. It is supposed to ward off negativity and protect you from the evil eye/toxic people and energies. Other crystals for protection include black obsidian (a very strong one. My favorite was a black obsidian arrowhead crystal.) Also red jasper, amethyst, tigers eye. Black crystals have a tendency to break when they are done with you/have done their job. Make sure to cleanse and charge your crystals to keep the energy clean and focused on its task!
